Demon-Xanth’s Caterham 7 reminded me that I’ve been meaning to tackle this rebuild for a while. This is what happens when a four year old lands on the Unimog he’s playing with. Tonight we start the deconstruction.

My Sopwith Camel was destroyed by anti-aircraft fire, by which I mean a wayward basketball thrown by one of my boys. It’s been sitting, cracked up, for months. I just haven’t gotten around to fixing it. I hope I still have all the pieces......

I know there’s a few broken pieces I’m going to need to replace, but they can be ordered direct from Lego.

I’ve found technic sets are better with my son. They’re just more robust. Unless there’s a gravity-assist RUD, they don’t really come apart by being played with.
